Enon Hall

Hughlett's Point Nature Preserve

We only recently found out that this wonderful park even existed! At the intersection of the Chesapeake Bay and Dividing Creek this is an absolutely gorgeous location. Frankly, one of the most beautiful natural beaches I have seen anywhere...and it's only a 20 minute drive and one-mile hike from Enon Hall. The only downside is that no swimming is permitted, but I think that's probably what has kept the place from becoming overrun and preserved its natural beauty. You really feel like you're the first person to ever walk these beaches. One word of caution...be prepared for the deer flies during the hike to the beach. Once you get to the beach, they're not a problem.
